My CF experience and the struggle I had with my mum about lifting heavy things

Hi,

I actually wrote this for my blog but I've had a lot of positive comments from lots of us CrossFit chicks out there and their boyfriends/husbands/partners. My love of CrossFit caused a massive wedge between me and my mum, we're on a better road now - but here's my story. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Tors

Thanks for sharing that! I totally agree with the part about what CrossFit giving you a healthy body image. It did the same for me (for the first time in my adult life!) I have had to deal with comments from my dad about "looking like a man", I wish he understood that aspect of if though.

Thanks Christina! I'm sorry your dad isn't on board with CrossFit yet, I hope he starts to see how happy and confident it makes you feel.

On a good note - how awesome is it to have a positive healthy body image!!!
