I scheduled the surgery and then after a week of pondering it and talking with different people, I opted to cancel the surgery and see if I would get some healing on it's own since it was considered partial and not a full tear. This injury occurred in February of this year and now several months later, it does feel better but still know I am not 100 percent there. Maybe this is as good as it gets in which case I will live with it. Maybe over some more time, it will get even better. I am glad I opted to not have the surgery.
