Good progress in short time.
It's been about 2 months since I last posted, as I've just returned from my most recent patrol. Anyway, I'd just like to say that I've made excellent progress in my fitness levels using CrossFit underway, even though gear is very limited on a submarine. On the 18th of October 100 burpiees took me 13:42 to do - and the pushups were a barrier (despite quads wanting to give way after about 30 of them) and just today I did 100 burpiees in 9:40 and the pushups give no trouble at all. Quads still burn like hell after about 50 though. I also went from 4/5/14 Tabata pushups / sit-ups / squats to 7/9/16. It's quite amazing. My body weight has also increased from 137 pounds to 152 pounds (personal goal). Thanks CrossFit!
