Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

CF + Limited Gym Equipment

So I moved some time ago (like 3 months) and the new gym I'm at isn't meant for CF. They don't have bumpers, only 3 oly bars, pullup bars at very low height (I'm 6'3 and can hang on the bars with my feet completely on the ground) and other limitations.

I did regular workouts with a friend who also lives here for the past 2 months but I'm itching to get back into CF again. The limitations above apply to me though and I'm very puzzled in terms of what to do. This gym is cheap, I tell you that, but it's also one near me. All the other CF gyms are like 30+ minutes away.

I'll be moving again in 2 months but in the mean time I'm wondering as to what to do: keep my strength up with just the regular fitness or can I change workouts in some way to fit it to the gym?

TL;DR: Got access to a very limited gym for the coming two months, wondering about continuing CF and changing workouts (and how to change/scale them) or sticking with fitness for some time and wait it out.
