programing? for wod's

I would appreciate anyone's help in pointing me in the right direction for putting together my oen sequence of WODs. I travel, so @ don't always have access to eqiupment. I do have a list of crossfit bodyweight workouts found here on the board, but don't know how to put them together in a daily training sequence. What order should they alternate for Metcon, strenght, speed, endurance, etc.....also considering the need to alternate body parts each day. Is this what crossfit means by "programing".
any help is appreciated!
Doug

The CrossFit Journal has a ton of information about the programming behind CrossFit. If you do not already have a subscription its only 25$/month, maybe the best 25$ i've spent. Tons of articles, videos and learning tools.

Re: programing? for wod's

Someone posted this link for me last week about programming:

http://journal.crossfit.com/2003/02/...-for-cross.tpl

Download the PDF on the right side for the full article.

I was advised to follow the WODs. My issue is that I work crazy hours, and between work and fam I need to be able to plan my workouts. My solution was to start with the May 1 workout (i started last week) that way I can plan ahead in terms of gym vs track vs back yard. There's also the scaled workouts, and you can substitute exersises if you dont have the equipment to do something.

It's been working well so far - why try to reinvent the wheel, you know?

Good luck.

Ivan posted the template that I was gonna post.

Also, I know you dont have equipment, but this article of CF Strength Bias was great! It gives insight into incorporating strength lifting into the crossfit metcons. Should help you develop a program. You can always move around trees or rocks or deadlift your car on strength days...

He means $25/year. $25 a month would have scared me away for sure.
