Thats a 20,475 lbs total tonage for the workout, that's a very very demanding load to complete in 20 mins. Insane workout. I'll try it.

Re: Self-Named Heavy Metcon: Are You Ready For Some Squats?!

I think the first round would be managable, but coming into the second 225x15 after the air squats would be murder. There is no way I would be completing that in under 20 and I have a body designed for squatting (short/stalky).

Looks dumb... no offense. In need of better programming

If someone who is fairly new tries something like this I'd say it's almost a sure bet they would get rhabdo. Hell, some experienced CFers would probably get at least bad edema and maybe rhabdo

Re: Self-Named Heavy Metcon: Are You Ready For Some Squats?!

haha...yea this workout looks like something out of a horror movie....or better yet it looks like a Marine Corps WOD.

I believe it can be done in 15-20 min w/o the air-squats...imo.

That was her first post...kind of odd for a first post. I'll never be as strong as Melissa.

Good luck with that.

Sort of agree, but peaked my curiosity so I modified and went this route yesterday morning:

20-15-10-5 reps of:

225# BS
135# FS
95# OHS

Each round followed by 55 ATG Air Squats for time. 22:14

I was pretty smoked afterward. Rode 15 easy miles on my bike last night to loosen up from all the squats....legs are retarded sore today.
