I cook everything in copious amounts of coconut oil and use it in my coffee (look up bulletproof coffee-- delicious!). Basing my smoothies and shakes in full fat coconut milk has also helped a lot.

... this may be a bit extreme, but to make coconut oil portable, I make it into "fudge" with some cocoa powder, cinnamon and smoked salt and eat it like that.

Fattier cuts of meat will also help.

Don't forget rice and potatoes as well.

Yucca and Plaintains are my go to. Very dense little suckers.

8oz of boild Yucca is about 350 cals & roughly 60g of CHO. Plantains are of similar nutritional value just needs to be prepared differently. Just make sure you cook your yucca thoroughly if you decide to go that route.

Could experiment mixing coconut, coconut oil, chocolate, peanut butter and nuts.
Put in the freezer to harden.

Bacon does have more protein though, if you need it.
Pound or half pound a day? Maybe per week!

Re: calorie dense foods needed

What about adding an un-flavored protein to your food?

Beef, peanut butter, fried eggs with butter, nuts, whole milk, ice cream, and so on. What exactly are you looking to do?
