Re: Injured...

I wish you a speedy recovery both from the injury and to your previous performance level.

I recall hearing Louie Simmons say on video something like "Pec tears you hear about often but almost never a triceps injury"

I believe he said the reason is that most people's triceps are weak so they don't have to take the brunt of the stress, clearly that's not the case for you.

Can we all learn anything from your injury to prevent it from happening to us ?

I think pec injuries are common, but Triceps do happen.

Pacifico had his heart attack when they were wheeling him into surgery for triceps repair..

and if you are ever going to have a heart attack (at 37) then a hospital surgery is a great place to have it .

Re: Injured...

Chris, is the outlook bright for something like this? I hope you'll be able to heal up and get back to what you love.

Re: Injured...

Wish you a quick recovery.
Has to be extra frustrating since you've been putting up some big numbers on all of your lifts.

Only that I should have heeded the pain from the chronic tendonitis and backed off to allow it to go away. I was too stubborn and pushed through it.

I went for the MRI today and I didn't fit into the machine... Lol, I have to go back tomorrow to the main hospital for the larger machine.

I injured myself last Wed. and the pic was from Saturday I think.

It depends on what exactly is wrong. One way or the other I will be back.
