Squats were work today - they tired me out. haha! Happy about the PR though. Scaled the workout back a little bit. I slipped getting out of the hottub this morning and irritated something in my right hip/*** area. Luckily, squats felt fine - could feel it a bit on the swings and burpees though. Overall, a good day!! Thanks for the spots and watchful eyes girls.

Wasn't sure how these would go after my little hot tub slip - the tendon or nerve I struck in my ***/hip area is definitely irritated. It settled down quite a bit throughout the day.

Well below my PR. Squats had to be very controlled - I'm just happy I was able to do them. Pushups definitely slowed me down too.

190x1 - was supposed to be 185 but someone loaded the bar wrong...and someone (me) didn't check it - it was a pretty solid lift for being unbalanced. ha!
200x1 - PR - not as smooth as I would have liked. Felt so good on the way down I lost focus. ha! Good gym lift but will have to tighten it up for the meet.

Deadlifts felt pretty darn good today.

Was feeling blah all day! Lifting heavy things made me feel wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. And I think I might go get a Big Mac on my way home. Haven't done that in a while. WOOT!

The squats were supposed to be two doubles, but I was having some issues, so I stuck to singles. I may have to adjust expectations if the piriformis doesn't let up soon. Fingers crossed. Bench felt solid.
