30 Ring Muscle-Ups for time

Can you do it where you get in the dead hang after each rep with kipping. If you can do it what is your time the first time you attempted it. I went for it for the first time, just 4 weeks after getting my first ring muscle-up. My time was 14:43 , I definitely feel with more practice over time I can get in that 5-6 min range.

Dylan your time sounds pretty good. i believe my last effort was 7 flat. If it helps i found that the jump to one kipping muscle up from none was tough but shortly afterwards i could link about 8 of them.

if you really want to improve your time practice non-kipping muscleups for shoulder strength

Re: 30 Ring Muscle-Ups for time

Pure deadhang no kipping I got around 5:40 if I remember correctly.

Contrast that with kipping and my best time was I think 2:06ish...

Yeah, big different from pure deadhang to full kipping.

Although you just started in deadhang so the difference will likely be inbetween those two times.
