1 rep max out's

Hi guys and gals,

Jack here

Just a quick question.

what are the benfits of doing 1 rep maxes?

I train four times a week, i mix cool lifts (deads, squats, bench press, press) in with some more metabolic training cardio/dips/chins stuff like that.

Im either always doing sets of 5's reps or higher.

I want to work out what my 1 rep max outs are again (haven't done it in ages), how long should i leave it when i should try to go for a p.r 1 rep max?

any help would be awesome

Thanks a bunch,

Jack

P's. sorry if this is not too clear
