i jus dont get it...to me psuedo planches are way harder...cause if your shoulders fail u'd fall cause your wrist cant keep u up....i jus dont get it AT ALL...oh by the way what actually is the correct hand positioning for the plance, front, back or lateral??

May just be where you are strong. I find the pseudo planches easier. It may be that you can feel the planch better. Who knows. I'd have to look at what you are doing to give better feedback.

As far as hand placement. Some of that determination is personal preference, some is wrist flexibility. In college a planch was much easier for me with my fingers pointed towards my toes. It's balanced out some now. Fingers forward makes stabilization a little easier, but is a little weaker position for most people. Fingers back allows for a better lock out of the arm, but if you fall forward it's tougher to catch.

I was thinking the same thing... BTW, the pseudo planche is the straight back, tucked knees hold? (aka the advanced tuck planche?) Or is it with straight body but feet on the ground? Thanks

In my nomenclature a pseudo planche is the top position of a pseudo planche pushup.
