Paleo food help

I am already getting sick of eating the same foods over and over. I am a horrible cook, and really do not enjoy cooking. Any good links to sites with easy meal recipes?

Re: Paleo food help

Like most things, if you get better at cooking you'll probably enjoy it more.

I'd suggest buying an actual cookbook. Books? How quaint! But a good basic cookbook will include all sorts of information about what cuts of meat to buy, which parts of vegetables are edible (or not), how to stock your pantry, what basic cooking terms actually mean, etc.

My two favorites in this category are Joy of Cooking and the Fannie Farmer Cookbook. I slightly prefer Fannie Farmer because it's the one I learned with, but neither will steer you wrong.

I'd also suggest buying a more specialized cookbook for whatever regional cuisine you like. Many of the recipes will actually be pretty simple, and the range will give you some idea of the possibilities.

Bon appetit!

Katherine

Quite whining!!!!!!!!

This subject has been beaten to death, ever hear of Google, did you even think about trying the Search function on this site? Well???????

Here are a few basic suggestions.

1. Marry someone that can cook
2. Pay someone to cook
3. Buy cooked food in grocery store
4. Suck it up and learn to cook
5. Join the Militarily.

Re: Paleo food help

fast foods by gordon Ramsey. Easy simple ingredients to cook up.

here is one of my favourites
cherries with almonds and mint
500 g cherries
1 tbs of superfine suger ( can omit) \
splash of amaretto liqueur
squeeze of lemon juice
124ml of almonds
small hand full mint leave chopped
topped with creme fraiche or i have used fage yogurt and its fine.
this make enough for 4 ppl

barnes and noble will have it .. and maybe you can find it with a 20 percent discount as most cookbooks dont have a long shelf life.

spend some time in a book store... Just eat big before you go in and start looking as in minutes, you tend to get hungry with your eyes.

Re: Paleo food help

yes yes, buy a good cookbook. I love cookbooks.

Also, could consider some cooking magazine subscription - I love Bon appetit. Cooking Light is good too - as it gives nutrition for the meals. though the meals usually aren't paleo, it's easy to make substitutions or omit things.
