Question Still dealing with shoulder pain.

I posted a little while back about my shoulder injury and since then I have followed some of the advice I received and began getting massages of the area along with some light PT, ultrasound treatments and muscle stim treatments. After a few massages it has started to feel a lot better. I was just wondering if any of you have dealt with a rotator cuff tear before? I was reading a few articles about it and it sounded a lot like my symptoms. However, I have been able to add in push ups and light KB swings along with pullups this past week. There is slight pain until I warm up and then it seems to ease up. If it was a tear would I even be able to do these movements?

Re: Still dealing with shoulder pain.

If it was a tear you probably want to get that repaired if you want to do any intense exercise again.

If it wasn't a tear and just swelling or whatever impinging stuff there then that's good and just work back into it slowly. Your PT should be able to determine if there is a tear. Ask him/her to run you through a battery of exercises if they haven't already.
