Holy. Crap. I stumbled on this while sipping coffee. This is the most impressive obstacle courses I've ever seen. My wife, three girls, and I are sitting here mesmerized watching it. It seems to be playing all day today if anyone wants to catch it.

Impressive stuff.

It's on G4 (a cable channel). They are on the women now. The women's courses are more balanced oriented instead of upper-body strength, but still impressive.

I suspect crossfitters would do well. Parkour people would be naturals I suspect.

I'm a big fan. In addition to the physical skills, I'm pleasantly amazed by the lack of trash talking. The athletes are humble in victory and gracious in defeat. The athletes seem genuinely disappionted when someone else falls out.

Indeed. I don't know if that is due to Japanese culture or the nature of the competition, or both...but I like it.

In the beginning the UFC had very little trash-talking and the combatants respected each other. Lately, it seems, that is fallen away. I'm not sure why this has happened, but lack of class in any endeavor irritates me.

Isn't wearing a banana hammock a bit of non-verbal trash-talking? I could do without that guy.
