CrossFit post-workout stretching

I've been doing crossfit for about a month now and I really enjoying it. I have read several posters mention the "after work stretching". I was wondering if the was an "official crossfit stretching cool down" just like the official warm up. I have read through FAQ and could not find it.

If such a routine exists, can some one point me to it? If not, does anyone have some ideas for a stretching routine i can do after the WOD?

Jamie

Nope, no official Crossfit cool down. Well, maybe if you consider lying on the ground in the fetal position a cool down!

Work on what you suck at for flexibility. It may be everything...

Most CFers are challenged in shoulder and hip flexibility, so I would certainly stretch those (and I do) every time. If you have ankle or wrist flexibility issues, add those and you've got a good bare-minimum routine.

My brilliant new plan for stretching is to read Derek's log (WFS) and copy whatever he does.

Sean,

Thanks for that link to Derek's log. The DrillsandSkills link he has contains some really good information. I look forward to trying it out and hopefully being able to walk in the morning after a good CF WOD.
