Your questions for Coach and Lauren on CrossFit Radio?

Hi all,
CrossFit Radio launches from the main site 09-07-08. Coach and Lauren are my first guests. Got any questions for them? Anything you've been dying to know? Thanks for the input...

Why do you not post on the message boards?

What's your vision for the future of CrossFit?

Do you think the explosion of CrossFit will have any long-term deleterious affects on the community as people are exposed to poor coaching or substandard teaching?

Tell us more about programming.

Actually, Coach has answered that one in the past. The answer is that, in far too many cases, his post ended the discussion (even though that was NOT his intention). People didn't feel that they had anything to add.

That might not happen nowadays . . . there's a lot more feisty people around, so we might do better.

On the other hand, a lot of Coach's "natural expressive style" would probably be in violation of the AUP, so, if he does start posting, the Moderators' work will probably get more intense . (I can see it now . . . 40 post deletions, for time . . . 3, 2, 1, go!).

Re: Your questions for Coach and Lauren on CrossFit Radio?

I want to hear Coach's thoughts on what seems to be a growing number of CFers stepping away from the main site WODs and running either Starting Strength cycles or hybrid programs like Gant Grimes'. What place do these alternate programs have in the overall advancement of long-term GPP? In other words, are the CF programmers looking into the results from these programs (and if we are to believe some of these message board threads, the results are overwhelmingly positive)? If so, is there any consideration of implementing more strength based WODs and/or shorter metcons?

a crossfit certification means nothing from an insurance/recognition perspective at present. Any plan to challenge/change this?

Re: Your questions for Coach and Lauren on CrossFit Radio?

I thought I came across some old archived threads were Coach did post to.

Looks like CrossFitlive was still around as of May but it seems to be dead and gone now.
