Crossfit while travelling?

I'll be at the girlfriends in another city for a week. I may not be able to get to a gym in that time. Assuming the worst (no equipment at all) what would be a good, basic WOD to do for that time? I was thinking something like this:

For time:

100 pushups
100 situps
100 squats
5 runs up and down her apartment building on the stairs

Any suggestions? I'm terribly sorry if this was already a thread or if it's in the wrong forum. Thanks for imput!

Ends up 120 each if my math is right and its broken up so that you can get some metcon out of it too as opposed to trying to muscle your way thru 100 pushups at a time.

If you're sadistic throw in/replace with burpies and run a set of stairs completing a round....or for the insane..after each exercise

15 pushups
15 situps
15 squats
run stairs
14 pushups....

15 pushups
15 situps
15 squats
14 pushups...

or get rid of the pushups and squats and just do burpies,situps,stairs...

play with it!

Re: Crossfit while travelling?

Nothing wrong with what you propose, or with doing ladders as suggested. If you want a bit more variety, there have been a couple of threads recently with lists of Eva's bodyweight exercises.

There are lots of other no-equipment-needed exercises for you to slot in. You may be able to find somewhere to do pull-ups or at least jumping pulls. Big bottles of water (or suitcases or bags with something in them) can be used for doing some thrusters or overhead squats to give some more options.

Good luck with it.

Re: Crossfit while travelling?

My wife and I will often do a Cindy style workout on vacation if a pull up bar is available. Usually we will throw in a 400m run between rounds, just to break it up.

In hotels with the high tech "fitness center", we will do something like a team 5 rounds for time of

25 situps
25 pushups
25 v-sits
25 dumbell thrusters

with the other person on the treadmill until the first person completes the above, then switch. Makes for extra pressure because you have to keep running while your team mate is partitioning their reps.
