New Concept 2 Model D!

My family and friends don't appreciate the enthusiasm and giddiness that I'm displaying over an indoor rower. Figured this would be a good place to shout out "I just got a new Concept 2!!"

I was planning on resuming my SS routine today (and this week), after a week's rest following a close call with a pulled something-or-other in my left groin'ish region.

Then the UPS folks rang my door bell, and I kissed my SS workout goodbye. I know they say not to jump into rowing and to, like all new exercise routines, work up into it. But I was just way too excited. I did a few casual 400m rows, then pumped out some intervals.

I feel it EVERYWHERE. I love this contraption, having never done any rowing before. God-willing I'll have the wherewithal to get back on track on Wednesday for my SS. But who can resist the call of the Concept 2?!

Now I just have to find a place to put it... it's a bit bigger than I thought it'd be

Anyways.... hooray!

Nice work getting the rower. Now get a C2 T shirt and most of your friends and family will think you're nuts.
Also, start your On Line C2 Log, log in everyday, rank yourself against others, do a local Crash event, then take open water lessons this summer.
