I'm really looking forward to the new season!
hey all. I was in this groove this time last year and ended up destroying my neck and left shoulder . . .competition ended up having a negative effect so be clear on what you think "success" looks like.

Did you have pre-existing injuries that were exacerbated?
What was your work-capacity prior to trying the WODs of the Open?
What workout specifically "destroyed" your neck and left shoulder?

I hope to do better than last year. Last year, I was very new to crossfit. The first time I ever did wall balls was during the wod where we had to do 150 of them, then double unders, then muscle ups.

Not the best way to be introduced to wall balls.

I met Josh about 2 months ago at an athlete's put on by CF Invictus. He is intending to compete this year. He looked pretty awesome at the time. One of the workouts at the camp was 'Jackie'. I think that he did it in 5:15! Crazy fast!

Lol, First time doing 7 min burpee amrap, the clock messed up and never started. no one realized it until I was halfway in.
