ESPN is terrible

I set my DVR to record again, and again something other than the games was playing. I sure hope Crossfit stands up to ESPN and keeps the Games off ESPN3. It is ridiculous that the rest of the world gets to watch the games while the majority of American viewers are being used as pawns by ESPN to get Directv and the like to add ESPN3. And yes, I cannot stand Directv as they are also big part of the problem.

Anyway, is there any chance that the previous games events will be played on a station that people in the US will be able to watch?

Thanks

On the other hand, I imagine there is plenty of riveting A-Rod coverage. and fantasy football shows.

It's not like baseball and football have been around for over 80 years each and bring in millions if not billions of dollars annually... Crossfit is such a new "sport" (not sure if I would call it that), that it should feel privileged to even show up on any television network let alone ESPN.

Just because people in this community think CrossFit is important and incredibly popular, most of the general public has never heard of it or doesn't care....

Re: ESPN is terrible

Hypothetically you could...
1) Go to www.proxy.org (I have no idea about WFS)
2) Find a proxy outside of the US (may have to try more than one).
3) Go to games site through the foreign proxy.
4) Go to News & Media drop-down > Live Event Archive > 2013 CrossFit Games ESPN Coverage (Non-U.S. Only)
5) Click an event
6) Right click one of the various resolution links below the video, and "Save Link as..."
I've heard that you can really only download one at a time using this method. They also say that some of the videos will just stop at a random point.
