My brother can be a bit modest when it comes to his accomplishments so as his little sister I'm going to do a little bragging for him. Congrats to my bro, Jeff Gorumba, for winning 2 gold medals at the Pan Am Games this past weekend in Carson, CA. Of course he's highly skilled as a jiu jitsu competitor but because of CrossFit he dominated his opponents and was just as strong in the last minutes as he was in the first. I'm so proud!

Hey thanks. He won a gold in the medium weight purple belt division as well as the open division. Not too shabby!

The funny thing is Jeff already had a background of oly lifting AND gymnastics. He was kinda CF before CF!

I've always marveled at how freaky strong Jeff was on the mat and when he told me years ago he had a background in gymnastics it influenced me to put my daughters in a program as well. Which kinda led me to CF....really a small world.
