In the spirit of promoting the Crossfit philosophy within our law enforcement organization, Nick Nibler and I have developed a little friendly competition...

King County Sheriff's Office (Seattle), Kenmore Precinct (my precinct) challenges the Shoreline Precinct (Nick's precinct) to the following:

800 Meter Run, followed by

40 Kettlebell swings (55 lb for males, 35 lb for females), followed by

20 pullups on rings - females have the option of doing the pullups or 20 perfect pushups.

The event is scored by total time to complete each of the elements.

Teams:

7 competitors

Minimum Three (3) must be 40 years or older.

Minimum Two (2) must be female.

Scoring:

Best time = 14 points
Next best = 13 points
Etc, Etc.
Worst time = 1 point

Whichever team scores the most points wins!

The event will be held on May 31st at Lakeside High School.

Nick and I will purchase a nice plaque to be displayed in the winning team's precinct lobby!

So, Nick...are you up to this?

The event is a great idea!
Nick has asked me to judge the event, I'm looking forward to it.

Tony,
We accept. If you have more than 7 that want to participate, we can expand the teams. Also, as to the 40 and over, we are taking that to mean turns 40 this calander year:kiss:.
