We all go through it, whatever it is at sometime, just need to look at it all from the outside, evaluate, plan, jump back in and get through it.

It comes with age they say..... older and wiser. Not according to my wife some days apparently I am really stupid sometimes

Re: 2014 45-49 Fittest on the Planet goal

Monday- should shoulder rehab and warm up with the class.

Was is such a good mood. Working out with my friend Eric. Good banter sharing the snatch barbell.

Emom 15 min squat snatch- warm up 45-115 then off to 135-195# 20# higher than my speed limit. Laughing and having fun the whole way. So in 3 weeks I have gone from 75# to 195# with little pain.. so happy about this.

Then comes a full out sprint metcon-
2 rft
75 dubs- both un broken
50 air squats- both un broken and afap
20 t2b- 10/6/4 and 8/4/2/2/2/1/1 or so..
RX - 4:52

Actually made a grunt starting the 2nd set of t2b..

Then cooled down with doing the workout with the other peeps- about 60 more air squats and some t2b.

Was fun. Goal completed.

Had some serious outside stressors dealing with work, and family. But was able to stay in the moment and just dance during the session.

Re: 2014 45-49 Fittest on the Planet goal

Tuesday is the bike ride day.. did 30 min worth of spinning and some efforts... my legs were sore. Seated from the start wind up- 1450 watts was the highlight..

Then went for a hydro massage and then some shoulder rehab.

Met with my sponsor last night.. some major things happening in the family right now. Cra cra to say the least. But I am strong and have the lord on my side!

Cheers
Vic

Re: 2014 45-49 Fittest on the Planet goal

Wed-

First session at Globogym- shoulder rehab, pull downs, hydro massage

Session - CF Dark Side- had my rowing class but did some of the strength and the metcon-

3 reps 3 second pause at the bottom- 95-225 had to coach the rowing class during this..

Metcon
3 rft
400 meter run
20 thrusters db 50# each arm (could not break only 10 or 20)
10 burp penalty if you set them down or stop to rest with them on your body.

R1- un broken 2:50
R2- 10/10 6:04
R3- 10/10 9:59

When I was running and thinking about God on the 2nd round.. my legs were surging forward with no energy needed. Was kind of a guided meditation for my running. Not fast but just incredibly easy. The last thruster was super hard and I let out the war cry! But for a sub effort just having fun I was in my 10 min time limit for this one. Learning how to tap into higher powers than myself. It a lonely road training with outside forces and stressors.

Did some shoulder rehab- after the workout. Went to a meeting and saw my sponsor get his 18 year token.

Session 3 at a different Globogym.. top secret training, more shoulder rehab, some accessory work.. just fun..

Fellowship and fun, finishing with House of Cards to put me to sleep.

Next day legs are sore.. going to ride the bike tonight.
