High hang precentage of full clean and snatch?
I have tried looking for this everywhere but couldn't find an answer , do you guys have any idea what my full clean might be if my high hang clean is 225lb? As I still haven't learned the full clean technique but I'm curious as to what it could be . Same for the snatch , my high hang snatch is 165 lb

All depends on the lifter. If your better from the hang and only train the hang, your full clean/snatch may be lower. Again, max out and let us know. My guess would be 80-90% of your 1rm but that is assuming your performing the full lifts on a regular basis each week.

If......and that is a big IF you are a very proficient lifter you will have a higher hang clean/snatch than what you do from the floor. Read it somewhere that the Chinese say about 5kg heavier from the high hang on the snatch.
Now take that with a grain of salt because an elite lifter can pull themselves under the bar lightning fast. Most regular folks not so much. |
