You aren't wrong - they did indeed re-formulate Jacked, as well as Hyde, Noxi-Pro, Kryptonite and most of the big brand names. However, I am still able to find the older formula products on the shelf right now (probably not for long!).

LOL Jeremy!! I do take it sometimes on race days.....mostly because I'm tired as hell from working on the truck half the night, and I like it better than coffee!

I could be wrong, but wasn't it removed because of the health problems it was causing? Is so, and you want to use a similar pre workout minus the 1,3, why not use Assault?

I use Fish oil and pre-workout Catalyst , Spark and Rehydrate post Chocolate Milk

I haven't heard of Assault, I'll have to look it up! I use the NO Explode when I want to use something without the 1,3 in it - and yes, I believe the FDA is claiming health issues for certain people, probably similar to Ephedra back in the day.

I really like Assault. I've never been a fan of the pre works that get you super jacked and tingly. Assault is more a "natural" bump in energy and concentration. Worth giving it a shot for sure.

For me personally I'm taking-

Pre- Assault
Post- ON Whey (usually I just pick up whats on sale. ON, Phase8, etc.)

Vitamin/Greens- Green Superfood

You can still get ephedrine, just not in supplements. Not that I would suggest it for a metcon though...

I take HDX mix pre work out has BCAA's and Carnosyn in it. Gives me a pre-pre warm up. I use Astaxanthin nightly for inflammation. Mercola Power Protein which has Chia and Probiotics in it. I take MCT's throughout the day but for ketones for all my concussions.

ZMA, DHEA, Biotin, Phosphatidyl Serine as a Nootropic. I was taking fishoils but stopped as I want to get them from a company that I can verify the source. The fukishima deal has me stop all Pacific fish intake. I get my Astaxanthin from a source in Sweden

Eat food
Drink water

As for the creatine haters it works. You will notice gains in strength I promise. I was a disbeliever Chris Mason brought in a good debate with facts. I was not informed and have since seen the results from the added intake. Use it if you only take one or two things make sure this is one of them.

My current supplements:

Whey protein
Creatine
BCAA powder
Glutamine
HMB

I have noticed a huge boost in my ability to recover from an intense metcon/lifting session after adding these supplements in. I've added them in one at a time starting with whey about 6 months ago and the most recent being HMB 3-4 weeks ago.
