Is this from the "Fireman Tom School of Modern Dance"?

So THAT's why I've hit a wall with my deadlifts! Not enough dancing before hand!

I say we add that to the official Crossfit warmup ;)

I can hit that after my third GUINESS. The dance not the lift.

Well pull my hair and call me Sally but I remain impressed with the ampule snorting Jitterbugger in spite of his silly antics. Is there anyone here who would not dance like that if it would help them hoist the boatload of weight he is pulling? I wish I could lift in pounds what he is doing in kilos. Apparently sniffing a Powerbar will only get you so far. Let's give the guy kudos where they are due: An F for pre-lift convulsions, an F for chalk stand vandalism but surely an A and three green lights for those excellent lifts.

What is this dance called? The Deadlift Dynamo?

I've seen that video before. I think someone said it was a 426kg lift? Is that right?

I think I heard that the lifter is also the son of a famous strongman champion -- possibly Magnus von Magnusson?

Just heresay -- haven't verified any of it.

Not related, Magnusson is a common name.

There's a video floating around on the net of Benni at a world championship. Each of his three lifts has exactly the same dance steps and moves, including the toss-the-used-ammonia-capsule ritual.
