Does anyone know if Tyler gives a discount to crossfitters?

Re: Elite rings discount?

Eva,
I don't offer any special discounts. I just try to keep the price low for everyone and keep the ordering process simple.
Thanks,
Tyler

Thanks, Tyler. I just had to ask. I hate finding out about discounts after the fact.

Eva,

You're right, it never hurts to ask. But now that you know, place your order today! The rings aren't 'cheap', but they are an excellent value. Tyler makes a heckuva product and he stands behind it 100% with great service. If you haven't used rings yet, be prepared to be blown away at how inefficient your CNS is in that arena!

They actually are fairly cheap, all things considered. Try to find any rings (save homemade) for less.

Re: Elite rings discount?

I just wanted add to the love-in, I got my Elite rings about 2 months ago and I love them. Totally worth the price Tyler has set for them, I'd say they're a bargain.

Re: Elite rings discount?

Got mine, and would agree they're a very good product (even if I haven't had a place to mount them yet, although for humor's sake I did hang them from my desk for a few really short-ROM pushups!). I'm a bit puzzled by the "loop through slots in the ring" bit (I would have been plenty happy with plain ol' rings with a strap through them) but the quality is very solid and the straps are very easy to adjust, which is a huge plus (getting the rings through the jaws of the buckles is a touch fiddly but not bad at all).

Worth the money, and very portable. I'm a bit abashed to try hanging them from public trees yet until I'm a bit more solid with them, but will be moving to a house in a month that should have room.

Re: Elite rings discount?

No kidding about the CNS. I couldn't help but laugh at myself when I first tried mine out - I was so wobbly in the support position I felt like my arms were jello. Once you try them and find out how challenging it is even to do the basic stuff again like pullups and dips, you'll be hooked. I am so proud of my 5 dips in a row, it's sad and funny at the same time.

Re: Elite rings discount?

I have a set of the "old" metal rings that tyler was selling last year. I got together with a couple other guys in my area, one guy had made a set and another had a set of the "new" ones. It was funny, I had the "classic" model!! I do like how the webbing is through the ring, but enjoy the klang of mine in my bag.
