First Timer from San Diego

Hello Everyone! My name is Armita and I'm a 19-year-old Taekwondo Instructor.

With the new direction my sparring is going in, I knew I'd need start on some additional training. I was told by a friend that CrossFit would be a great way to go. However, I was pretty stubborn about it at first because I wasn't very confident in myself about starting something completely new (and I'm a little lazy). But after a couple weeks I was won over and tomorrow I'm starting my first day of CrossFit with the Weekend Warriors here in San Diego! I'm very excited

I've been told that my martial arts training will definitely benefit from CrossFit, since the workouts readily mimic the physical demands during a sparing match, and that the community involved is great. So I'm very happy to be taking a first step by introducing myself today.

I am looking forward to strengthening my skills as well as the confidence I can gain in myself with what CrossFit has to offer, and can hardly wait for tomorrow!

Thank you, Kevin!

I was a little scared at first, but its all anticipation now. I should be counting sheep instead of counting down the hours
