However, saturday i did murph for the first time and its now monday and i still have t rex arms and hardly have the use of my upper body. iv done plenty of killer upper body Wod's, just wondering why this time its killed me. and if anyone knows the nest way to prevent it becuase i skipped today and tmro is not looking any better. brutal pain!!!!!

Proper warm-up and cool down (stretching, foam rolling, etc), hydration, proper nutrition (all the time, including pre and post WOD). Sometimes, there isn't much you can do when you expose your body to the high volume and extremities of WODs like Murph, Karen, etc. You just have to tough it out. Keep rolling and stretching.

In my experience it is never as bad the second time. The worst one for me ever was 1/4 mile walking lunges. I was falling over into my chair and couldn't go down stairs for 5 days.
