Liquid Fish oil

I have recently started taking the Pharmaceutical grade high dose fish oil Dr. Sears recommends, but am finding it too expensive to try to choke it down my son.
The problem is that my 21 year old son was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease ( an incurable, terminal, neurological disease which there are no treatments in the medical community) I jsut read Omega Zone and want to start him on the Fish Oil but the dosage recommendation would be far too many capsules for him to swallow daily.

I said all this to ask If anyone has found a liquid Pharm. grade Fish oil that is hideable in a smoothie, without really noticing the smell or taste.

I have found the 5gms/day to have drastically improved my tendonitis and in addition to dietary changes.

Re: Liquid Fish oil

Carlson's liquid has a lemon flavor to it. I hate fish or anything that looks or smells like it. I can drink Carlson's fish oil straight from the bottle no problem. It is not cheap though.

Nordic naturals is very mild. Even the orange flavor is more of a scent than a flavor. You could hide it in about anything.

Re: Liquid Fish oil

I'll second Carlson's lemon flavor. No fishy smell or taste. I think they have other flavors so you could experiment if flavor is an issue. Lemon should hide well in smoothies etc.

Re: Liquid Fish oil

Carlson 1600 mg per 5 ml
Ascenta 2300 mg per 5ml.
Nordic 1780 mg per 5ml
Should try reading the existing threads
this as been discussed over and over.

Re: Liquid Fish oil

I use the Carlsons Orange flavor... tastes pretty good to me. No fishyness at all.
