I've searched the archives and have read that this question gets asked frequently... but whit I didn't see was a concise response - at least not for anyone near my build.

So reading Issue 21 of the journal, I'm trying to determine my body type. I'm 29 years old, 165lbs, 5'11" have no idea of bodyfat %, consider myself to be fairly lean, am an easy gainer (I gain mass via traditional muscle-mag workouts very quickly), and have a somewhat athletic build. I'm a bit soft around the oblique areas, skinny in the legs, and broad and defined in the shoulders/chest/arms.

Can anyone determine what body type I am? Small Male? Medium male?

Thanks!

I would guess that you are around 16-17 blocks a day. This is assuming something near 10%. It is not perfect but it may give you an idea you can compare with your own intuition.

I think Nick is right on. You will lean out very quickly on 16-17 blocks then you will need to start increasing fat blocks to reach a maintainance level. Search for "Athletes Zone" and check out the issue of the Performence Menu that talks about Zone ratios.
