I was disappointed not to be on the purple band! I want to be stronger! Those push-ups were killers.

75 pull-ups in 20 minutes???? Incredible!

You can already do the purple band, just maybe not 75 reps yet. You'll get there! Pull-ups are hard yo!!

10 back extensions

Planks were HARD. But I am pleased that I did so many of them and I held them the whole time. Way better than the last time I did planks.

To finish things off,

3 rounds for time

10 clean and push
50 single unders

45 lbs first round, 55 lbs last two rounds

forgot to start stopwatch. Argh! But fun.

I worked out in the big gym today. I was all...I'll go to a spinning class or do the elliptical. Then I was like, why the heck would I want to do that? I want to lift some heavy sandbags!

95lbs deadlifts
toe to bench handstand push up

Range of motion for the push-up NOT there but the knees felt too easy.

5/18/09

4 rounds for time
100 ft walking lunge, first set 15lbs in dumbbells, remaining sets 12.5
30 box jumps
20 pull ups, 7lbs assist

25:45 I think I did 4 rounds....but I'm honestly not sure. I wasn't keeping track. Katie doesn't think I did, and I am not sure. This WOD was SO HARD I was just trying to not die and admit that I tend to "round up" when in that state. Like, Greg might tell me I have down 7 sets, but I write down 13. Not that I have ever done that. The pull-ups felt so crazy easy! Maybe I should have dropped to 60. BUT this WOD was just crazy hard, so having a slight break was fine with me.

Erin: darn it, this was a hard workout. I was exhausted and felt like such a weakling!

5 rounds for time

15 25# sandbag split clean
21 pull-ups FGB

17:42, but I think I miscounted some of the pull-ups for the last set. The split clean felt strange and like I was not doing something right....it felt ineffective and Eric said that it is more effective. Maybe that is because I am not used to the movement yet?
