Re: Bulk Diet

When you say chicken and steak. HOW MUCH chicken and steak?

Because when you say you're eating 3 egg WHITES for breakfast it makes me question how much you really want to commit to this. You might just be eating wimpy portions. I mean chicken and sweet potatos CAN be part of the plan, but he'll you can lose weight on those too if youre eating 3 oz of chicken and half a potato. It's not so much the food but the amounts. Eat more.

I don't know what's in those shakes but I would also be thinking about higher calorie foods. Milk, peanut butter, etc.

In any case it will help if you can post a daily macro nutrient count. How many cals, pro, carbs, fat do you eat per day?

Re: Bulk Diet

2 In & Out Burger Double Doubles with a chocolate shake.

Think high protein, high fat consumed several times a day. It is hard to eat enough. I would eat my third meal of the day and I wouldn't feel hungry when I started it.

Not a big fan of the mass gain stuff tends to be too many carbs..

Re: Bulk Diet

find out how many calories you eat now, then increase it by 25%. if after a month you aren't gaining weight, then add another 25% of original number. so on and so forth until you gain. lift heavy things. limit the long slow metcon and cardio. be sure you get enough protein, water, and sleep.

Which Mass Gainer? Dymatize Elite Mass Gainer? Scivation? Either way if it's 3 full servings a day...I can't see how you're not gaining weight unless you have a ridiculously demanding job like construction and kill WOD's in the gym. That might be something that needs to looked into with bloodwork and then some...

Re: Bulk Diet

You aren't eating enough. You are eating foods a bodybuilder would eat to cut. You need nutrient dense foods - high fat foods. You need red meats, peanut butter, whole milk and cheeses, and you need starchy carbs. It drives me nuts when guys eat like a dieting bodybuilder and complain they can't gain weight.

Avacado, ground beef, whole milk, peanut butter, nuts, cheese, salmon, pork....it's not complicated. Also, eat the whole egg, not just whites. Some bacon or ham with that would be great. Re-read what Chris Mason said.
