Measurements - does anyone know?

does anyone know the measurements, or a place to find such info, of some of the games competitors? i.e. - neck, arms, waist, thigh, etc? obviously that is not what CF focus is on, but it would be very interesting to me. obviously height and weight and amounts lifted can be found, but i have not seen or found anything about actual proportions?

Re: Measurements - does anyone know?

Only HQ or Reebok would have that kind of information b/c if they had that kind of info, it would have had to be gathered at the Games. I knew a couple people that went and they never mentioned anything about getting "measured" like that, although I've never asked that specific question either.

or, gyms could do it, or supp companies that endorse athletes, or the individuals themselves.

and even if the games athletes info is not known, that has no effect on people on here being able to throw up their own stats.

Yea, sure different places or people could perform their own measurements and post or send them in to some central location. I was just saying if one "entity" had that information they would have had to gather it at the Games.

But hey, this sounds like a good research project for the Boxlife magazine or RX review or one of those CF media types.

Re: Measurements - does anyone know?

What do you want to know?

You can pretty much guess it if you know their height, weight, and have pics. For example, I would guess Rich Froening's arms to be in the 16.5-17" range. His legs are probably 25-26" and so on.

I'm curious, why do you care?

Re: Measurements - does anyone know?

Hi, Andrew. Are you comparing body measurements to fitness level? If so, you may find that the results are relative. Feel free to review the youtube videos of Chris Spealler WODing with Jason Khalipa. At a fraction of Khalipa's body weight, Speal can keep up at the Rx'd weights.

Now I'm really curious as to why measurements are relevant to you. Please share your reasoning with us. Thanks!
