Ferris's log towards kicking ***.

Sex: Male
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 154
Mood: Astonished & motivated

WoD:
"Chelsie"
Rounds complete: 4 (with pullups not in full range of motion)

Comments:
Got into crossfit 6 months ago during the winter and trained as hard as I could for 2 months with astounding results. Once the snow melted things/everything caught back up to me. WoD's became less and less frequent extremely quick. This is my first (and hopefully last) reboot of crossfit training. Still struggling with equipment (barbell, bumbell, plates, pullup/dip stand [no good for kipping or knees to elbows], mats, jump rope, NO RACKS) and my current diet and workout schedule is beyond frustrating at this point (parents + crazy preplanned last minute lifestyle = no control of diet or schedule ) I am determined to get into the best shape possible for sports and because it's something I really take pride in. I've digressed from where I ended 4 months ago (that would be 12 rounds of Chelsie with full range of motion) and the only concrete parameter I would like to set for my physicality is to maintain roughly 180 lbs with 8-10% body fat (still have no clue how to measure that) and to then make the most out of that.

Mood: Fresh Start

WoD:
SUNDAY 100627

Five rounds for load and time of:
Deadlift, 5 reps
5 Ring handstand push-ups

Time: 3:24
Load: 150 lb deadlift
Ring handstand pushups subbed for assisted handstand pushups

Comments:
Looking back 150 lbs was too light for deadlift, however I'm still trying to find what level I'm at. Nutrition changes still getting no where...

Mood: I don't give a **** what you think, it's gonna happen.

WoD:
TUESDAY 2010 06 29

Set a cone at 20 meters. Five rounds for time of:
185 pound barbell Overhead walk, 40 meters (replaced 45 lbs)
30 Wallball shots, 20 pound ball (20 should press thrusters, 2, 12.5 lb dumbbells)
95 pound barbells Farmer carry, 40 meters (35 lb dumbbell in each hand)

Time: 17:05

Comments:
Originally was doing 65 lb overhead walk but one of the plate rings wouldn't grip the barbell. Struggled most from shoulder press thrusters, not from weight but from number of reps. Could have easily gone heavier with farmers carry without stopping, could have gone heavier on overhead walk but would have had to take breaks to complete 40 meters in the later sets.
