What's your 'X'?

I'll give this a shot tonight and post my result. The archived workout is at the following link:

Matt, what did you get? I've got a group of surfers tomorrow that I'll put through this and post the best results.

Sorry about the delay, but I got my paralettes a couple of days ago and wanted to try them out. Anyway, here is my 'X':

16 or 16/32

I went at a pretty easy pace, making it up to 12 before I broke up the pull-ups into multiple small sets. Now that I've done this workout once, I'd move a little faster in the earlier sets and start breaking them up into mini-sets earlier. Get up to 10/20 took no time, from there on out it was a killer.

Very tough workout both physically and mentally. I was already getting burned 20 minutes into it and all I could think was: 40 to go... someone save me.

I was looking for something to do tonight since I can't make it to the weights. Thanks for the idea Matt. I'll post results tomorrow.

X = 12 for me. The pushups were no problem but the pullups kicked my ***. By the end I was doing "sets" of 1.

Mike,

I know how you feel. The pull-ups became radically more difficult after 10 and I really had to pace myself with quick, short sets. The push-ups were actually kind of a relief.

I'd love to get in another set (X = 17) but I barely finished on time as it was so I'm not expecting anything miraculous to happen.

Anyway, I love the workout and will be incorporating it into my program.

Has anyone else given this a shot? I'm curious to hear how it went, especially since I suffered through it.

Coach, Did you ever get those surfers in the gym and run them through the workout? I'd love to hear how they did.

Anyway, thanks for the workout and Crossfit.
