Hi all,

Had a bit of a night on the beer and had a moment!
Looking at having my own set of rings made by a friend and wondered if anyone knew the dimensions of olympic rings i.e. diameter and thickness?

Thanks in advance boys n girls,

Heading for drunken dream world now - gotta a big workout in the morning :-)

I wasn't positive, so I didn't post earlier, but I think it's 1.125" thick with an inside diameter of 7"-I think Tyler Hass or one of the gymnasts can help you out better, though

I couldn't find anything online, but my encyclopedia britannica says 28mm thickness and 18cm inside ring diameter

Hi David,

Thanks for you post, it will be most helpful for my next set!

I got a set made at 30 mm (comfy for me)and there was confusion in the diameter, I asked for 8" and meant at the inner edge, they were made to the outer edge! no biggy, will just know for next time!

Thanks again
