Hola! I see many people at the gym (Aderholdt) on base doing CF, but there is no "official" CF class set up......yet!!! For those interested, there will be a Level I Cert class on 4-5 April 09 up at NAS Whiting Field, Milton, FL (about an hour from HFLD). I have registered and will be going up. I have talked to 2 others who are interested in getting a CF class set up. Anyways, if you are interested in finding out more info, please stop me in the gym or email me at cdrocco1218@yahoo.com

I guess if I respond it will put this post back at the top for a FEW minutes. I can't afford the Level one cert but you already know the I am doing CF...Can't wait to get the TRAIN on the TRACKS !!!

I'm not stalking you on this message board,,,promise! hahaha. But i did just respond to your other post regarding the military and CF.
It was nice doing a CF workout with you the other morning.....I got a couple of "wtf" looks today, but overall, i think we'll get some more people coming out of their shells and get a consistent group going.
It's so funny.....as far as some work training I have to accomplish...telling the boss I'm good to go anywhere, EXCEPT the 4-5 April. LOL

Again, thank YOU for being the one who has started the train. Wouldn't be here without you!!!!

You'll definitely have to keep me posted on if/when you head down this way. When will you know?
I'm due for some time in the sand, but there are other CFers in this area. An official CF affiliate (Emerald Coast) in Valparaiso, which is right outside Eglin. Eglin is only like 10-15 miles from Hurlburt but with traffic, it can easily take 30 minutes to get from one to the other. Anyway, more to come when you've got more details. Feel free to send me a PM on here or look me up on global.

So, I ran into 3 other crossfitters at the gym today (1 is my new coworker..yay!).
Anyway, there was a question of if/when an official CF, or at least a room dedicated to CF, would show up on Hurbie. I shared the info of "Extreme Fitness" that the gym is running but also told them that the people are OUT THERE...we just need to come together and make it happen. To be affiliated to CF, I know there has to be at least one certified CF person. I'm getting my cert in the beginning of April, but will be leaving the local area shortly after
