Blurred Vision is done with reps of 15-12-9 by the way.

Ian, those are positively diabolical. The names are perfect. I hope you don't mind if I add those to my menu. I really like the name Ataxia and a sorry I didn't think of that. Great name for a workout.

Have at it, Eugene. Let me know how your crew (dis)likes them. Take care and stay safe!

thought air sick bag would be a breeze. it went fast (12:30), but it sure taxed the old aerobic engine!

18" box
no rings...used side by side benches
only had 10lb med ball.

thanks eugene!

Connie - It's 15-12-9 for the whole workout so the rows would be done for that many calories each time.

This afternoon we did:

Lactate Pusuit

Tabata Squats
Tabata Ring Pushups
Tabata Box Jumps
Tabata Snatches (44)

Rather than do all 8 each time we did 4 of each and went through twice. After that half of us did:

44 lb KB

10 snatches each arm
20 swings
10 clean and jerks each arm

While the other half did the following:

10 sit ups with 36 lb KB extended in one hand, lower and press the weight at the top of the situp
20 situps (no weight)
10 ab roller

Then we switched. Really quick workout but we all felt pretty worked after that.

10 Barbell Clean & Jerk (115)

30 Box Jumps
40 Jumping Dips

10 Hang Power Snatch (75)

If you don't have access to a rower and are doing SDHP in their place, what is a good approximation of SDHP per calorie? Any suggestions?

Michael - 75 lbs is way too heavy to approximate rowing with SDLHP. I would suggest a fairly light weight like maybe just the bar or maybe even a bit lighter than that. When you pull really hard you can get 2 pulls per calorie so since it's 30 calories 60 pulls would be about right. That will make the time it takes to do the exercise match up with rowing as well.

Did the Gilligan today. I wanted to go bike but my wife worked a double last night and needed to sleep. I opted for a long workout in the gym and came up with:

Bike 30 minutes
Row 20 minutes
Run 10 minutes
Repeat 3 time for a 3 hour workout.

That worked out to 8 miles of biking, 4000 meters of rowing and 1 mile of running for each of the 3 sets. I was only able to hold a bit over 6 mph for the run as my legs were really taking a beating. I added 3,000 meters at the end to make the row day 15,000 meters which brings my row total to 520,000 for the year. That was one long 3 hour tour.

This one was a blast last week:

"Recovery"
5 pistols each leg
5 swings
5 one-arm shoulder press
5 knees-to-elbows
5 box jumps
5 ring pushups
5 pullups
for 5 rounds.

Amount of sweat after it is ridiculous, due to the visible ease of the workout.

A good one was:
"Get Up And Be A Man!"
30 overhead bb walking lunge (good warmup for balance because =>>
30 Turkish Get Ups (15 each side)
30 Man Makers (DB squat, pushup, renegade row, deadlift, repeat)
30 Hang power clean
30 wall ball
30 windmills (15+15)
30 pullups.
