Strength Development Workshop w/Dave Lipson

CrossFit Mach 5 R&D in Burbank, CA cordially invites you to join us for our “Strength Development Workshop” with Dave Lipson.

This workshop is a must for any CrossFitter, Strength Coach and Box Owner wanting to improve their lifts, become massively strong and retain their versatility as a CrossFitter.

Join us for this rare opportunity where Dave will go over Strongman Training, programming and strategies for developing strength within the CrossFit program. Dave has worked extensively with Rob Orlando of Hybrid Athletics in developing a comprehensive strongman curriculum in Rob’s Strongman Seminar. Additionally, Dave will discuss the Westside and Wendler methods, as well as supplementary movements and strategies for brute strength.

Date: Saturday, November 20, 2010

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Location: CrossFit Mach 5 R&D, Burbank, CA (address will be given upon receipt of registration fee)

Investment: $75 per person

Price includes Workshop, Monster WOD’s, a Paleo-inspired BBQ and select hand-crafted beers at the end of the workshop. Bring your swim trunks as well if the weather permits hopefully!!

About Dave Lipson
Relentless in his desire to push his athletic limits, Dave found success winning NAS Strongman, Powerlifting, and CrossFit competitions finishing 14th at the 2008 World’s Fittest Man CrossFit World Championship and 4th in the Northeast CrossFit Regionals in 2009. His videos are posted on the CrossFit main site, viewed by millions, breaking records of some of their name workouts. Dave is infamous for his self-imposed physical challenges such as dead lifting triple his bodyweight, running up the Empire State Building and doing a 500lb back squat everyday of a year to raise awareness for skin cancer (http://www.365daysofsquatting.blogspot.com/).

David earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the most prestigious certification in exercise science. He has endlessly continued his education receiving certifications in Olympic-Lifting, Kettlebells, and Nutrition. David also travels around the country coaching other coaches as Certification Staff for CrossFit Headquarters. Dave most recently moved to Southern California where he Co-Owns CrossFit Solana Beach (http://crossfitsolanabeach.com/).
