Re: What protein powder do you use?

$49 AUD is like $45ish US. Exchange rate being 89c US to 1 AUD.

That product is Whey Protein Concentrate.

Nitrean adds 5g of Leucine to it and is a blended protein. WPC, Whey Isolate and Whey Hydrosalate plus Casein and Egg (slower digesting proteins).

What makes you think that and how do protein consumers detect this? (Most Australian brands have similar labels, most WPC's are about 23g per 30g. Maybe something is different here?)

Right now-Muscletech Phase 8. The local guy said it was pretty good and gave me a good deal. It is strawberry and by far the best tasting protein powder I have used. It's loaded with sinful, non-paleo, **** off the true believers stuff. It is yummy though so if it works I guess it is a win-win.

I have used and like At Large Nutrition I am just not forward thinking enough to order it enough in advance that I don't run out waiting for shipping. I kinda feel bad since Chris is always so helpful 'round these parts.

Bodylogix natural whey. No gmos grassfed whey etc etc. That sixxstar stuff is good in a pinch when money gets tight but that stuff gives horrible gas. My wife knows when the supplement budget is running dry just by the smell haha.

Re: What protein powder do you use?

This NZ sourced based in Canada. Unfort they don't ship out of the country.

It's the concentrate but good bang for the buck. 25g protein/30g & $10/lb + $10 shipping (free over $99).

Re: What protein powder do you use?

PVL ISO-GOLD (100% whey isolate) any flavour for the win, hated PVL flavouring for the longest time, but they changed it 3-4 yrs ago, my friend who is sponsored by them gave me some to try, and been hooked ever since (4 months ago I think)

Supplementsource.ca is where I get it.

The carb and sugar content looks low for a 100% whey concentrate product that is supposedly 76% protein by weight.

its funny you mention that. They started up a (supposedly unbiased) company which looks into what ingredients other Australian protein sellers are using. They called a couple out for using skim milk powder, which has similar properties to some labels, right?
