Yes, sweeping the bar back to the hips and also punching the hips so they hit the bar is correct.

Week 3, Day 5 - Rest
Week 3, Day 6 Snatch - 60%x2, 70%x2, 80%x1, heavy single 60%(100)x2 70%(115.5)x2 80%(132)x1 Heavy Single(150)x(f) - Just didn't get under fast enough Heavy Single(150)x1 Heavy Single(160)x(f) - Fell backwards once I caught it, but I was happy with the snatch regardless Clean & Jerk - 60%x2+1, 70%x2+1, 80%x1+1, heavy single 60%(135)x2+1 70%(157.5)x2+1 80%(180)x1 Heavy Single(205)x1 - It was fine, but I literally forgot to move my feet when I cleaned it. Heavy Single(215)x(f) - Failed the clean, don't know why. Back Squat - 70% x 3, 75% x 3, 80% x 3, 85% x 3, 3RM 70%(227.5)x3 75%(244)x3 80%(260)x3 85%(276)x3 - I went lowbar for this because I wouldn't have been able to hit it otherwise. Answer to (1) - start basing your training weights on your HBBS maxes so you don't feel like you have to switch styles in the middle of the work...

I thought the clean looked pretty good, till your back collapsed elbows dropped in the bottom...maybe it was a tad forward? (I do that too
