Re: CF Malaysia.. finally!

won the Semi-Final game today, i think we won by 8-10pts.. cant remember exactly.

was an ugly game for us, and even uglier performance by myself. our shooting was just horrid, but we got the job done in the 4th quarter.

Championship game is next week, and sadly i'll be outstation that time. So i'll be missing the action. Our opponent also struggled in their semi-final game today, won by 1pt in OT.

We've lost all 3 games against them last year, but this year our lineup is partially new (and better players overall) so not sure what to expect.

15 down, 1 more to go.....

It's been ages Rif, I hope you're doing well. I'm sure you'll come out stronger out of the Ramadan.

Take care !

Re: CF Malaysia.. finally!

9th October 2008

well, a futile attempt to get back into things...

managed to Squat 165# a couple of times,
DL up til 215# (though i think i can squeeze about 20# more)
Clean 135#.

also manage to fool arnd with some rings a couple days ago, suprisingly i can bang out Static MuscleUps without much of a problem. I guess the 3 months of inactivity has its rewards.

Re: CF Malaysia.. finally!

yikes, couldnt walk straight for days after the last workout.

i'm so un-fit, i dont even know where to start. only good thing is, i'm picking up on sports again. Basketball and badminton on the regular now.

maybe i should ease my way into workouts. maybe i'll start with bodyweight stuffs + jump rope & some KB works.

seems like my body is not ready for the heavy stuffs just yet.

Patrick, how have you been? maybe i'll drop by your training log when i get the chance!

Re: CF Malaysia.. finally!

Richard, thanks for dropping by in here. since you have alot of experience with the barbell lifts, i wanted to know some decent targets to achieve on most of the basic barbell lifts

i think nowadays i weigh in somewhere between 66 to 68kgs, but most of it is just extra weight around the belly..haha I'm no longer a fit, tough going athlete.

i wanna know what's a good target to reach for the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, DL, Squat?

i now can snatch almost my own bodyweight, clean & jerk 1.25bw, what's a good number to aim for these two lifts? 1.25bw for snatch?
