Anyone wear Weightlifting shoes with orthotics?

I've been having problems lifting in my weight lifting shoes before and after orthotics. Pre-orthotics I developed a nasty case of Plantar Fasciitis from O-Lifting on concrete with WL Shoes, then developed stress fractures. Now after some time away from the lifts I've gotten back into them and feel my feet getting sore in the heels and acting up again. SHould I avoid Cleans, Snatches, Explosive lifts with heavy weight? With the sport orthotic in there it is rated to sustain 400#. But they do feel like they put me foward. I'm unsure where to go from here other than, stop doing what hurts = no lifting in shoes or very heavy. Any suggestions?

I'd just like to say that I find it highly unlikely that you got plantar fascitiis from wearing weightlifting shoes. Plantar fasciitis is basically tendonitis of the plantar fascia; it's an overuse injury. Unless you're spending several hours a day in your weightlifting shoes, it's very unlikely that it's the cause. It's more likely that your primary day-to-day footwear is the cause, and the acute stress of the O-lifting is simply causing flare-ups.
