Hips will be extending along with the knee but not as much as knee.

Best thing for you will be to upload your video.

ok thanks everyone for your help,its been invaluable.

So for the clean and jerk

1.the hips and knees are both extending from the very first pull,more so the knees at first

2.the hips and knees hit full extension at the finish at almost the same time,

is this that same for the snatch.

yee haaa,hell why do they bother writing those big books on the lifts

we just sumerised it in 2 lines hahaha,

no seriously thanks to all again,ill give yous a mention when i smash the world record,

found a good article on the snatch,has little match stick men and all showing the degrees of the joint angles at each stage,really cool and helps a ton also.
