Anyone know?

Hey guys, I've been doing crossfit for almost a year and love it. The first 7 months I was coached by a certified crossfit trainer, and boy I learned A LOT! Once in a while he had us do an exercise that he called "Bear Crawls" and I can't remember if it was an actual crossfit exercise that he had seen or if it was one that he made up.

Anyways the exercise itself was this:
Using a barbell (we only used like 95lbs) starting on the ground do a squat clean, then as you stand up press the weight over your head, then back down onto your back and straight into a back squat, and as you stand up press the weight over your head again then back to the ground. Thats rep one. Sorry if my description is confusing, all I know is the exercise will get you winded pretty quick.

So, does anyone know this exercise? Is it called Bear crawls or is it something else? Or has no one heard of it and it has no name. My buddy came up with a WOD using this exercise and we named it after his nickname, "Gator." Thanks for your help, you guys are great.

Re: Anyone know?

Oh sweet, thanks guys. Man as if it weren't hard enough, I see my buddy and I forgot the OHS in there Well, that answers my question, thanks for the info. If anyone wants to try the WOD we came up with its:

3 rds for time of:

15 bear complex @ 95lbs

15 pull-ups

15 burpees

Seeing as we forgot the OHS, maybe 15 reps is a bit much.
