Just wanted to say "good job". I know doing a log here can sometimes feel like you're talking to yourself (which is why I do such a bad job of maintaining mine).

Thanks James! I am one who actually enjoys talking to myself, so I have no trouble keeping up with the log....its only been a month, so hopefully I can keep with it into the years like some of the more experieced posters on here!

Finally feeling well enough to get back to the gym! A day behind on the 70s Big plan, but I will catch up!
Thursday Squat – 5x3, sets across - done with 185# Bench Press – 5x3, sets across - done with 155# Dips – 3 sets of as many reps as possible - reps: 12-10-8 I did keep it a bit light today to make sure I dont prolong my recovery from the flu. |

Had a good day at the gym today! More 70s big action...
Deadlift – 5 reps x 1 work set - 185# - did 7 reps Pull-ups/Chins – 3 sets of as many reps as possible 7-5-5!!!!All strict dead hangs!!!! Big improvement from earlier this week even! Conditioning - Did an 8 minute tabata row for calories - 93 cal. Cashed out with one push-up and one dip for every 10 calories on the row! (9 and 9) |

Week 2 of 70s Big training starts today!
5 reps/3 stes squats - 195# (+ 10# from last squat day) 5 reps/3 sets OH press - 95# (+10 from last press day) 3 sets AMRAP pull-ups - 6-5-5 (down 1 from last pull-up day - will get that back later in the week!) Good work-out! |

Power cleans - 5 sets X 3 reps - 115# (up 20# from last clean day)
Dips - 3 sets AMRAP - 15-12-8 (up 5 in totla from last did day) Conditioning - 5 (jumping ) pull-ups7 Push-ups 9 35# DB swings 3 rounds for time - 3:39 |

Another Tamara Cohen-approved 70s Big strength workout...
Squats - 5reps X 3sets - 205# (+ 10# from last squat day) Bench - 5reps X 3sets - 170# (+ 15# from last bench day) - did 7 reps in last set Dips - 3 sets AMRAP - 13-9-9 (down 4 reps from earlier this week) I have yet to fail on any lift yet, I am still unbroken on all of sets - no pauses in the lifts...I think that means I still have a way to go before I hit the upper reaces of my strength limits. |
