Digtial video camera
I currently have an sony dvd-rw deal. Like it but hate having to convert to mp3/4 or whatever it is. Any suggestions. Mainly for forum checks and short video's. Black berry isn't cutting it. Thanks Pat

Re: Digtial video camera
Pat,
I have the FLIP video camera and it is awesome. It saves to flash memory and you just upload on your computer. I have a Mac and all I do is plug it in and start making vid's in imovie. It is around $199 for the 8GB(2 hour Memory) and $149 for the 4GB (1 hour memory). I got mine at Best Buy but I have seen them all over. The week after I bought mine it was on sale for $179. It is a little bigger than a cell phone so it makes it easy to take to gym. Hope this helps. |

I just wanted to point out that the link above is to the creative vado which is not the same as the FLIP. The FLIP seems to have better reviews from what I've seen. Plus that vado sold out already. Right now I'm just using my still camera which can take videos as well. But I'd like to get a flip soon. Oh, and the gorillapod is awesome if you need a little versatile tripod. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?ur...rds=gorillapod (WFS) |

Re: Digtial video camera
I don't if the deal's still going, but 2 weeks ago I picked up a Kodak Zi8 which has been getting pretty favorable reviews. It records up to 1080p/30fps, but I bought it for the 720p/60fps so I can record my o-lifts. Built in USB adapter and saves to SDHD cards (my 4GB card that I had laying around will save 42 minutes at 720p/60fps), it also has a built in HDMI output via an included dongle cable.
Retails for $180, can be found for like $150-160, I bought it for $137 shipped! Search Fatwallet and Slickdeals for deals. |
