1025 CFT after 9 week of Crossfit

Hey all wanted to share as I am still stoked from last night at the box. Started CrossFiting about 9 weeks and 40lbs ago. 7 weeks ago we CrossFit totaled and I hit 830, with 300BS, 135 OHP, and 395DL.

Between CrossFit and strict paleo the entire time (4 meals total that i have cheated on) I was able to push my CrossFit total almost 200lbs. Hit 385BS, 165OHP, and 475DL.

The training and guidance I have been getting at TriCities CrossFit has been amazing, with a shout out to the greater CrossFit community. This is only 1 step in a long road to get back into shape but i am really stoked after last night.

So, wait a minute...you got stronger and lost weight?? How is that possible? I thought lifting heavy weights made you big and bulky Serious now, awesome job. that is some big time dedication that you have put towards your nutrition and it looks like it is paying you big dividends, congrats!

That is just plain awesome John. I did my first CFT at my affiliate today (got an 865) and I can only hope in 6 weeks to be able to get a gain like you did.
That is just plain badass dude. Good work.

Did you just do your normal CF work to get your gains?

Re: 1025 CFT after 9 week of Crossfit

That's great John! Keep doing what ever you're doing, it seems to be working

I did my first Crossfit Total today, 775lbs (265BS, 135SP, 375DL). Not super numbers, but they were all PR's for me.

I'm looking to start doing Paleo shortly and am expecting great things from it. I just have to find the time to sit down and put together a menu when my pregnant wife isn't around
